The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released a short notification for RRB ALP Recruitment 2026 (CEN 01/2026). Under this recruitment drive, a total of 11,127 Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) posts will be filled across various railway zones in India.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have:
- 10th Pass (Matriculation) from a recognized board
- ITI Certificate (NCVT/SCVT) in relevant trade
- OR Diploma / Engineering Degree in relevant field
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
Age Relaxation
Age relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per Government of India rules:
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years
- SC / ST: 5 Years
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 Years (after deduction of military service)
- PwBD (General): 10 Years
- PwBD (OBC): 13 Years
- PwBD (SC / ST): 15 Years
