The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) has released a notification for Apprentice Recruitment 2026. A total of 337 vacancies have been announced for various apprentice posts including Trade, Diploma, and Graduate Apprentices.

This is a great opportunity for candidates who have completed ITI, Diploma, or Degree and are looking for training in a reputed Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Department of Atomic Energy.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have the following qualifications (post-wise):

  • ITI in relevant trade (for Trade Apprentice)
  • Diploma in Engineering (for Technician Apprentice)
  • Degree (B.E / B.Tech / Graduate) in relevant field (for Graduate Apprentice)

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 26 Years

Age Relaxation

  • OBC: 3 Years
  • SC / ST: 5 Years
  • PwD: 10–15 Years
  • As per government rules

The NPCIL Kakrapar Apprentice Selection Process 2026 is merit-based:

  • Preference to candidates from neighbouring villages (within 16 km radius)
  • Merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained in ITI/Diploma/Graduation
  • Tie-breaker: Date of Birth (earlier born higher), then Matriculation marks
  • Document Verification + Medical Fitness Examination
