Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have one of the following:
- 10+2/Intermediate with Physics, Mathematics & English with minimum 50% marks.
- Three-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation/IT) with 50% marks and 50% in English.
- Two-year Vocational Course with Physics and Mathematics with 50% marks and 50% in English.

Agniveervayu will receive a monthly stipend during their four-year engagement period under the Agnipath Scheme:

Indian Air Force (IAF) Agniveer Intake 01/2027 Recruitment 2026-Selection Process
The selection process of IAF Agniveervayu Intake 01/2027 includes:
- Phase-I – Online Test:
- Objective type test (English & Hindi).
- Science Subjects: Physics, Mathematics & English (60 mins).
- Other than Science: English & Reasoning & General Awareness (45 mins).
- Both combined test option available (85 mins).
- Marking: +1 for correct, -0.25 for wrong answer; 0 for no answer.
- Phase-II Testing at ASC:
- Document Verification.
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT-I & PFT-II).
- Adaptability Tests (I & II).
- PFT-I: 1.6 km run (Male within 7 mins; Female within 8 mins).
- PFT-II: Push-ups / Sit-ups / Squats (as per gender standards).
- Phase-III – Medical Examination:
Conducted by IAF medical board including vision, chest, dental, hearing, etc.
